Fleece Performance Coolant Bypass Kit for 2019–2024 Dodge/Ram 6.7L Cummins
The Fleece Performance Coolant Bypass Kit is designed for compatible 2019–2024 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L 24-valve Cummins.
The rear cylinders of the 6.7L Cummins can experience less coolant flow and higher localized temperatures than the front of the engine. This kit adds a secondary, temperature-controlled coolant path intended to improve coolant circulation at the rear of the cylinder block.
Fleece Performance designed the system to integrate with the factory cooling system while maintaining an OE-style fit and appearance.

How the Coolant Bypass Works
The factory cooling-system layout can leave the rear cylinders with less coolant circulation than the front cylinders. Under demanding operating conditions, this may contribute to increased coolant temperature and localized pressure near the rear of the engine block.
The Fleece Performance Coolant Bypass adds a secondary thermostat and coolant passage at the rear of the engine. As coolant temperature rises, the bypass thermostat opens and allows additional coolant to circulate toward the front of the cooling system.
This temperature-based operation is designed to improve coolant distribution before excessive localized pressure becomes a larger concern.
Cooling-System Protection
By improving coolant circulation at the rear cylinders, the bypass kit is designed to help reduce the conditions that can contribute to excessive cooling-system pressure and freeze-plug concerns.
